Mario Platzer is a transport planner, primarily concerned with research issues. He is a graduated civil engineer and sociologist and is an expert in social behaviour theories, especially measuring methods for changing mobility behaviour. He is currently researching how innovative communication technologies, like Social Media, Augmented Reality and serious app games force sustainable mobility behaviour. He is also well experienced in qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis and was responsible for the evaluation of several digital games.
